I'd like to thank you for the fotos. I worked the Syracuse side & only
went up the Utica side once or twice when we had a wreck near Cortland & had
to take the Syracuse freights up to Utica & over the New York Central to
Syracuse. Some fast ride there, I tell you - I don't think the old GPs ever
went that fast on the S&U. I like to hear about the Utica side because that
was also the domain of the old O&W. I often think of how much we have lost.
