This is something I've always wondered and never had the answer to, and now you've answered it - the intermingling of DL&W FT component units.

The new EL In Color Vol. 6 shows back-to-back (and drawbarred) EL 6041/6044 (ex-DL&W 604A/604C), and states that these two units were used in pusher service up to the end of their lives on the EL. How many paired FT A's were used in pusher service? 3? 2?
