Re: (erielack) turntable at Slateford



Actually, it's a good question as to why the DL&W built a turntable at
Slateford.  Probably its only use was for turning locomotives on trains
that either came west off the Cut-Off and were destined for the B&P in PA
or Old Road in NJ, or vice versa.

Does anyone know the approximate dates that there was a turntable at
Slateford? Any details like why they put it there, how big was it, etc.?
Anyone have
