I have a couple of intermodal related questions for you. First, Bill Gale tells me that in the 70's, Chicago handled brand-new westbound tank trailers. They would be grounded at the two remaining ramp tracks since the sideloaders couldn't handle them, then the new owners would pick them up. What was the name and location of the trailer manufacturer? Presumably it was located somewhere near an EL ramp. Secondly, the TOFC ramp at Marion OH was located at a former "GSA" facility east of the main yard, at Kenton and Silver streets. What is GSA? I checked Google and came up with Gerontological Society of America, Gay-Straight Alliance, and General Services Administration, the last being most likely, of course. Anyone?
