I noticed that George Elwood had posted a map of the Erie Railroad Companies along with the Wheeling and Lake Erie. The map looks like it is from the 1920s era. What was the relationship between Erie and Wheeling and Lake Erie to produce a map like this? Was W&LE part of the Van Swerigen family of railroads?
