Actually, a good ride on unpaved ROW is the Newburgh branch.  You can 
get on it at Greycourt from the "Heritage Trail".  Its good riding
into Washingtonville.  When you cross Rt 94 by Bordens, its best to 
leave the ROW and go North on Rt 94 and pick up the
trail again behind the Walden Savings Bank.  Its a nice ride again to 
almost Salisbury Mills, where a old trestle has too many
decayed ties to cross... thats as far as I've gone but its probably 
10-15 miles round trip.
