Hard to believe that 30 years have past but they have. It probably wasn't the best of marriages as other potential suitors were already spoken for, but they stuck together until the end. There was no other choice. We all have our thoughts as to what we would have like to have seen, but in the end we did wind up with a railway that against the odds of the times, did its combined best. Now it's up to all of us to keep the legacy alive.
