I've been riding the PV Line daily for 2 weeks so far (and hopefully for a long time to come, b/c my new job is working out pretty well) and of course I ride glued to the window and notice something new every day. And of course the NJT aventures never stop...one night the train filled with smoke going through the tunnel just past Hoboken, and another night, we crept at 10 mph to Secaucus, something was mumbled about a transponder (*D*elay, *L*inger and *W*ait, I was thinking...) Crossing the Pascack Valley Line just around Teterboro is a concrete and steel footbridge to nowhere (kind of in the area of the new Lowe's home center). I forget what used to be on either side of the tracks there, but it was def. a PV Line customer because there are remnants of a siding nearby. Anyone have a sharp memory?
