  Railroading in Northwest Jersey  7:00 p.m.   
Washington Twp. Public Library, 37 E. Springtown rd, Long Valley -A slide program, "Railroading in Northwest Jersey", will be presented by Bob Pennisi, author of several railroad books in the Northwest. The slide show will cover railroading in the counties of Morris, Sussex, Warren, Hunterdon, and Somerset from the 1950s to about 1980. It will begin with a tour of the Jersey Central RR. The last part of the program will cover the Lackawanna RR and its successor the Erie Lackawanna. This program is sponsored by the Washington Township Historical Society.
