Paul and list, I believe the first maroon and gray GP7 I ever saw was coming eastbound in a freight (NY98 or SC8) in late 64 or early 1965 at Port Morris. Both my brother and I were out photographing trains that day and were we surprised to see the geep in such a beautiful paint scheme. I'll have to dig out the photo and date and get back to you. This unit was still in Erie paint and wings, with EL decals on the nose and carbody side. The Hayshaker is the daily local freight that ran the upper NJ& NY Monday - Friday. He would frequently lay over in Hillsdale for lunch on the westbound leg.
