Re: (erielack) A (MUCH) bigger version of the EL/NJDOT map...



In 1970-72, I bought a commutation ticket from Fairmount Ave. on the 
Pascack Valley Line, even though there was only one train in each 
direction which stopped there.  The fare was the same as for Anderson 
St., ½ mile east.

River Street in the early 1970's was pretty much a limited flag stop.  
South Paterson was a stop for both Main Line and Newark Branch trains 
(until Newark Branch passenger service terminated).

Even after the NJDOT purchased the first Comet coaches and the U34CH 
locomotives, the runs to and from Port Jervis used E-L equipment; I 
don't recall seeing the train from Middletown.
