Gary,

As control cars the 5198/5199 were the worst pieces of trash ever to be
foisted upon an unsuspecting engineer. It is hard to believe that those who
designed these cabs knew anything about about control cabs or their
function. The cab set up was so poorly done that those design engineers
should have been banned from ever participating in railroad related design
work.

Thank goodness the those cars are gone.
