The Comet I's are stored in two places. 11 remain in Port Morris Yard as of 
3/17. There were 16 there until recently. The new B Yard in Hoboken has 40+ 
stored there. 

As previously mentioned in other posts three were donated to the Whippany 
Railway Museum and the Morristown & Erie now has eight. Six of these are stored 
somewhere on the Whippany Line and the two which had been sitting on the Scale 
track in Morrisotwn, Nos. 1701 and 1721, were shoved down into the Morrsitown 
Passenger Yard Thursday by the M&E crew.

The five cars going to the MBTA which had been sitting on the Center Street 
Branch were moved earlier this week and are now enroute.

C&K Scrap Metals of Newark, NJ, owns the remainder of the fleet.
