Sorry to say, but  I've heard MBTA bought the coaches solely for their
trucks; the carbodies  will be scrapped. :(

Not just the trucks. Everything that is salvageable will be taken from the  
cars. Even some of the exterior side panels will be remove to repair some  
coaches that were split open by a utility bucket truck that was out to  foul.
