  Also, I forgot to add that if there was a problem
with a certain Locomotive. Steaming poorly or other
mechanical issue they would double head them to get
one to to a terminal for repairs. Some of the reasons
for this was

Dropping the grates or burning a set out
Poor coal 
Leaking superheaters or plugged flues
dislodged front end arrangement
