True, but if they were going to make them a C-C unit(see the original
question) from A1A, they would be trying to mount a motor on the idler axle
of the E8. I'm not sure there would have been room to do it on those trucks
due to the motor positioning, as Gary notes. There may not have been room in
any event, simply because there would not have been space in that truck
design to fit three motors.
