Regarding NS's operations on the Southern Tier, I take it that they're
coming up via Scranton?? Which raises my next question of the freight
activity on the DL&W side (Scranton-Binghamton).

Chuck,
Not much.... The NS runs a local from Suffern to Campbell Hall.. I think it
is symboled H0-7/H0-8...Other then that the only other freights that run
between CH and Binghamton are the NYSW SU-99/SU-100....These trains are
pretty much
a Monday-Friday operation of late....Most of the NS road operations on the
Southern Tier are from Binghamton west....
