Dear Friends,
   Rooting around in the box of stuff I saved from destruction at the DL&W Scranton station was this small booklet which listed the firemen employed by the Company corrected to 1905. Think about it, this was before the advent of Mr. Truesdale (& modern motive power) before the cutoffs, viaducts & everything that made the DL&W a super railroad. 
   The booklet has a lihgt cardboard cover & is pulp paper & hard to handle, but I've copied out the Scranton & M&E rosters. I still have the Buffalo Division & the S&U, Utica & the Bloomsburg (which shows as a separate division in the booklet).
      I'm sending it as an attachment to this post & hope it comes thru OK for u guys to look at. Anyone recognize any names???? I found one.......Dalrymple - on the M&E division. When I was 12 yrs old, my family sent me to a boy scout camp on a NJ farm owned by a family of that name. It's not a common name, so it may have been a descendant of the named fireman.
