Was out trying to catch one of NJT's new diesels on the former EL Boonton
Line (a task I succeeded at - see
http://www.railpictures.net/viewphoto.php?id=134715), I visited a favorite
location. This is the former DL&W bridge over Route 46 in Mountain Lakes,
NJ. It now sports a new "highway green" paint job (it used to be traditional
black with big "LACKAWANNA" lettering on it). Here's a shot with a westbound
NJT train (featuring a former EL/NJDOT cab car). The sad thing about this
scene is that you can easily see that this bridge once supported four
tracks. Now it's down to one. Sad. :(
