Thanks for posting the DL&W folder -- it is a very interesting subject which 
is often left out of the descriptions of the situation of railroads during 
World War I.

The Erie used the flu epidemic as a ploy to try to permanently discontinue 
some passenger service. At least in NJ, the PUC ruled against the plan.
