(erielack) Joint Erie and NYS&W passenger service

This question was raised several months ago by someone on the list.
The August 1935 Official Guide lists such a service on Table 13 as
"(Independently Operated.) Joint Service." There was but one train, #990,
an eastbound which originated at Waldwick at 9:20 AM and stopped at
Ridgewood, Glen Rock (Bergen County RR), Radburn and then used the SusieQ
rails from Passaic Jct making all stops (except Prospect Avenue) to Little
Ferry -- then straight into Jersey City at 10:10. There was NO equivalent
westbound train in the evening. Table 39 that gives the Main Line and Bergen
Co. suburban service also shows #990 -- listed as "Via Erie R.R. Co. and
N.Y.S.&W. R.R.", again with no westbound twin.
