Time to turn the calendar once again.... The Feb. 2006 EL calendar photo is an interesting one in my opinion - a solid lashup of black/yellow EL (not repatched Erie) units. The variety among the units is great, too - a pair of ex-DL&W GP7s (you couldn't intermix the other units with former Erie GP7s due to the brake stand differences), an FA1 and a C424, nicely weathered to boot! You can also spot differences in the paint schemes (one Geep has a "hollow" EL diamond on the end and condensed Gothic cab numbers, while the other has a white-centered diamond on the end and extended Roman cab numbers) The empty auto carrier is a nice, classic touch as well.
