I refer to the insidious, pervasive, ongoing misuse of the apostrophe in situations like, but not limited to, the possesive "its" and the formation of plurals. There is no apostrophe in the possesive "its" anymore than in "his". There should be none in "Room's for rent, as an example. Or "Used Car's". It works both ways.
