Hornell fans might have been split between the two teams. But, in the days
before widespread TV broadcasts of baseball games (and the days when games
usually lasted less than two hours), folks were willing to do this kind of
thing. I believe the DL&W also ran trips out of Scranton to Hoboken,
destined for Yankee Stadium. They may have also been done it out of
Binghamton. But I defer to the expert hot stovers here on this.

It looks like they ran a special from Hornell to Cleveland for a
Yankees-Indians game. I assume people in Hornell were Yankee fans?
