RE: (erielack) SF-100 consist sheet



About the only people on the railroad that use the ARR
list is the mechanical department for various record
keeping activities. For handwritten lists such as
switch lists, condr wheels a simple letter was used,
and this sometimes changed from person to person. 
Also the railroads had their own prefix's used in the
computer reporting systems. On the BN a 100 ton
covered hopper was a C6, a 40 ft narrow door box car,
such was the type used to load grain, was a B2.
