There was a factory at Edgewater up until at least the 1970s, when it closed and the property sold for redevelopment.
I remember seeing a chemical facility at Edgewater still getting tank cars shortly before the branch was abandoned.
Many moons ago I posted a consist sheet for EL train SF-100, circa 1975. On that sheet it had a few cars destined for "Lever Bros., Edgewater, NJ" in there as well.
