First off, those units are NOT owned by NJT; they are the property of the United Railway Historical Society. Last I heard, there were no plans to run them, at least not in the immediate future.

You're thinking of the two DL&W E8s owned by the Central New York Chapter NRHS. I believe they're up in Syracuse, but they need some mechanical work to get them running again (that's the story I've heard) URHS has at least one more E-unit, but it's still in NJT paint.

The Erie E-units are in the former Morristown MU yard, fenced in with several other URHS pieces. Don't know where the CNY DL&W E's are, anyone up there can tell us?
