FW: (erielack) Routings to Paterson

While you are correct about routing trains via the New Connection from Croxton to Paterson, the Newark Branch offered superior clearances for H&W traffic and served as an alternate route. Until NX Draw was opened for good, H&W extras ran via NX from time to time to avoid Kingsland Tunnel.
