I've posted a pair of EL bills, The first is for a PRR flat with an Army
half track. The load originated on the PRR at Wilkes Barre PA and was
interchanged to the EL at West Nanticoke PA, destination for the Tobyhanna
Army Depot. Since the Bloomsburg Branch PRR interchange at Northumberland PA
handled the majority of the PRR / (DL&W/EL) traffic on the branch I suspect
that the Bloomsburg Branch West Nanticoke PA interchange handle traffic
similar to this bill. That being traffic originating on the PRR in the
Wilkes Barre PA area and destine for points on the DL&W/EL. Can anyone
provide additional information?
The second bill was for a car routed from Fort Dix, NJ to Tobyhanna PA Army
Depot. What is interesting is the date October, 1964 and the PRR / EL
routing via Manunka Chunk (MKACHK). I thought that the Manunka Chunk
interchange was destroyed in the 1955 flood and was surprised to find this
routing on a 1964 bill.

Maybe you found the last car ever interchanged at Manunka Chunk. LOL
