Re: (erielack) pecking order/members ages

Just hit the half century mark this past May. I grew up in Passaic Park
about a block from the Lackawanna Boonton Line - I could watch the DL&W and
early EL years from my back porch as a young child. I was also a short ten
blocks from the Erie Main Line Passaic Park Station, from which I took my
first train ride - a Christmastime trip into Paterson in '59.

Went to grammar school in downtown Passaic. Before they ripped up the
tracks, my school bus would be stopped at the Passaic Avenue crossing each
morning for #21. I had the opportunity to commute on the EL from Passaic to
Hoboken from '69 until '72 while going to high school in Jersey City. Went
to college in Michigan, so I was lucky enough to be able to tour a little
bit of the west end prior to Conrail. Those were the days!
