RE: (erielack) D,L &W COACHES 3518 & 3572 DL&W MU CARS in Florida
I believe they had others, but those were severely damaged when they tipped
over in a Hurricane and ultimately scrapped.

Subject: (erielack) D,L &W COACHES 3518 & 3572 DL&W MU CARS in Florida
Just came across this website for RR here in Florida that has 2 restored
Lackawanna MU cars.
http://www.frrm.org/roster.shtml
The only thing is they took off the "LACKAWANNA" lettering, here's there
disciption of the cars,
COACHES 3518 & 3572 DL&W MU CARS. Built in 1930 for DL&W commuter service
out of Hoboken, NJ, the cars each seat 70 on cane seats. These cars were
operated until 1983 by DL&W, Erie-Lackawanna, and New Jersey Transit.
Purchased by the museum in 1984. They have open windows and are not air
conditioned. Both cars are in operating condition, with one in regular
weekend service.
Check it out, BTW, does anyone have any history of these cars they can
share?
