Question for Mr Heckman (and others): Sometime around 1970, according to
printed schedules, it appears that most Buffalo-Meadville traffic was
shifted off the B&SW to a circuitous routing via Salamanca and the River
Line, presumably to avoid Dayton Hill and it's 2.5% grade. This reroute
affected BM-7, BM-9 and MF-74. So apart from BR-100 (aka RC-98) and the
occasional detour, was traffic limited to locals?
