Re: (erielack) Nanuet Passing Sidings (ex NJ&NY RR)



Not only was there an active interchange, but it was used for fantrip in the 
1960s: One memorable RRE trip included the West Shore (reached via the ramp 
from Hoboken Terminal) to Newburgh, then back via E-L's Newburgh Branch (and 
if memory isn't too hazy, I believe that trip also covered the L&HR to 
Andover Jct and back on the ex-Lackawanna).
