Actually Tom Taber the elder had notes and photos that Tom Taber the son
incorporated into the three volume book on the DL&W.  The son completely
wrote the second and third volumes and more or less pieced together the
first volume.  Although from reading the books you would think the opposite
was true, the son is really the true author in many ways, but he gave his
father the well-deserved credit since without the father's knowledge and
contacts the book would have never been written.  Of course, it was the
father who knew many of the Lackawanna men who are featured, particularly
in Volume One.  Nevertheless, TTT the son, who is a prolific rail author
and historian in his own right, has far eclipsed his father in many ways.

Yes those Books are Credited to both Tabors
