Same thing happens at airports and along railroads and highways.  Somehow
people manage not to hear the planes, trains and automobiles when they
look at houses on weekends, then are shocked by the 5:30am flight, the
4:30am train, and the constant hum of traffic on the interstate.

They also don't estimate how long it will take to get to work until AFTER
they move!
