If you would like to save the $2.10 per unit, a fine DL&W antenna is readily simulated by inserting a short piece of 3/64ths styrene rod through a hole in the center of the caboose cupola or the appropriate spot on a diesel roof. This rod should be topped with a round cap of .005 styrene sheet.
