A colorful story, Chris, except that by the time EL was wooing UPS in 1970,
the stock traffic (and the Alcos) were defunct.

My how things have changed!

Stock cars on the head end with a trailing pig flat!

I'll bet this photo didn't make it into the brass's
sales presentations shown when wooing UPS's business!

Oh, your shipments to Chi-town will be expedited,
after CX-99 makes a brief stop to service the leather
plant in Chester.  It's only about an hour to an
hour-and-a-half into the trip.  Plus, your customers
will have added benefit of the lovely essence added to
their packages!
