RE: (erielack) U34CH question

The book "Erie Lackawanna in Color, the East End" Vol 3 on page 7 shows a 
U34CH behind SDP45 # 3663 leaving Binghamton Yard going west. However, NJT 
wanted the State owned locos to stay closer to home so they would be 
available for monday and commuter service.
