In addition:
9. Leaving Harriman, lurching around the curve on Woodbury Viaduct,
then accelerating up the hill to Moodna Viaduct.
10. Leaving Salsbury Mills-Cornwall, timing your acceleration just
right so you hit the tangent for the H O Straitline at 70, then watch
the countryside roll by as you work your way up to 79, and hold it there
for the next mile and a half.
11. Running train 1157 (?). Leave Hoboken, then the first stop was Glen
Rock on the BC.
IMHO, the best Diesels I've run. Hot in summer, hot in winter, quiet,
smooth. Were the only engines that could do track speed with 6 cars on
the BL. Except maybe an F40.
I defiantly miss them.
