Interesting photo. The 15 CB&Q SD45's ordered in 1968 wore a GN-inspired proposed BN green/white/black scheme in anticipation of merger. Note the absence of logo; the BN symbol was going to be added later. Of course, the merger was tied up in the courts for a while, and by the time it was actually consummated in early 1970, the white band had been dropped.
