(erielack) New book by Dr. Alfred Runte



The cover looks like the Delaware Water Gap on the old DL&W - for good 
reason - when he was an undergraduate, I took Al on #6 to NYC & back on #5. 
As a child, his father took him on the PHOEBE SNOW. Al sees the need for 
train service to complement the air & roads before we pave over the whole 
country. I've had the privelege to have some of my photos included from the 
final days of psgr. svc. on the EL.
