I boarded NJT train 1081 at 5:42pm in Hoboken and the conductor on that
train knew about the derailment at Waldwick, so it happened much earlier
than 6:30 pm!

NJT web site says there is no eastbound service from stations west of
Waldwick.  Short Line is honoring NJT rail tickets from Port Authority Bus
Terminal.
