Folks,
As you may have seen, Walthers announced in RMC August issue they will offer Pfaudler Milk Tank Cars (wood design). They will be offered in H.P. Hood, Sheffield Farms, White Bros., Dairymen's League and United Farmers.
According to Bob Bahrs excellent book on milk cars, at least two of these creameries were served by the DL&W - Sheffield Farms ( Johnsonburg, NJ; Foster, PA; New Milford, PA; Homer, NY; Tulley, NY and Norwich, NY) and Dairymen's League (Nicholson, PA; Whitney Point, NY; Homer, NY; Greene, NY; Hubbardsville, NY; Waterville, NY; West Winfield, NY and Rchfield Springs, NY).
Sure wish Walthers was doing a version for Borden's, which was apparently commonly seen on the Sussex Branch, though the photos mostly show the steel versions.
