Steve,
That's good news, although Binghamton and East Stroudsburg are long
excursions. It's the regular weekend excursions--for example, Nicholson
and back--that draw the big crowds. The long trips are really railfan
trips. And because of the cost and time, most families would forego them.
Therefore, my concerns remain essentially the same.

Chuck,
Calm down! I just spoke with one of the park rangers this past weekend and
he
said it is highly likely that both steam locomotives WILL be running
mainline
service in 2006 and that trips to Binghamton and East Stroudsburg are
planned
for next year!!....He also said the CP 2816 may visit Steamtown sometime
next
summer......
