The NYOW tunnel is still there. A few years ago it was cleaned out, stone exposed and stands as a piece of history. I saw the tunnel last month and even though some took an interest in cleaning it up it is again becoming slightly overgrown. Hopefully Scranton area (especially NYOW historians) will take an active interest in preserving this icon. Regarding the building at Nay Aug, I don't think there were any mines in the immediate vicinity of the stucture but I could be wrong. Another story that I heard about the building that it was some sort of glass works. I have no clue about that.
