Everyone likes the sight of a spiffy clean Alco. I shot this yesterday during lunch. We (the Whippany Railway Museum) are repainting Morristown & Erie Alco RS-1 No. 21 into a hybrid paint scheme - the rich red color of the 1980s (with a black roof, no less) with pseudo-styling of the 1960s. The unit will have a blue rectangle added to the slide, as well as vertical blue rectangles on the end and yellow pilot chevrons. http://www.railpictures.net/viewphoto.php?id=108196 And hey, it's an RS-1!
