High, I'm new to this list but not Erie. I wrote an article for the Diamond about 20 years ago. For modeling purposes I'm interested in the New York Division just after WWII. What foreign (off road) hoppers would likely be seen on the Erie in the east in this time? Does anyone recall or have other evidence of off road head end cars in Erie trains? How did mail and express gert from Jersey City to Manhattan? Does anyone know of some sources of Erie rolling stock photos? I'm interested in cars built 1910-1940. Ed Edward B.
