Tony,

An excellent reference for Croxton is Bill sheppard's "Tidewater Terminals" book (not sure if he has any more to sell), which has a great track diagram of the area.

From talking to others, it seems that road power was refueled/sanded at the racks that are so commonly seen in Croxton photos. Units that needed more work were taken to the roundhouse. Not much more to it than that, I'm afraid.

Hoboken was similar - units were serviced on the north side of the "MU shed", and more extensive work was taken care of at the roundhouse tracks (northwest of the MU shed) - when was the cinder structure along Observer Highway built? Was that post-EL?

What other Croxton-specific details are you looking for?
