There's a pile of old rusty steel (?) and a pile of old concrete (The former turntable pit and roundhouse floor?). Lots of construction equipment too! Anyone know what's going on? Todd (ELHS 1318) Todd One of the new interchanges for the turnpike is going near there, including a pipe line right through that area. They have had a bunch of young Archeologist type guys trying to document were everything is as they excavate. Not sure who they are doing this for, the county or City or ??? I spoke real briefly with one of them about a month ago. Croxton is a REAL mess also, because they are re paving, and putting in new drainage ditches between Pads 2 and 3. ( the two old EL piggy back pads) Also they are putting in one additional pad track along side of pad 2. Don't know what its name will be yet.
