Just caught a eastbound freight thru Endicott with 3 passenger cars and an Erie Lackawanna hopper on the tail end. I didn't see what was being used as a buffer ahead of the passenger cars. This was on good sized a mixed freight led by Union Pacific (TM) motive power.
